Nails

I got my nails done again for our upcoming vacation! I have to show because I'm still amazed! This time I got a manicure and a pedicure. $60 total - plus a tea and a hand and foot massage. I can see why some ladies do this once a month.

There is a gem on the flower and sparkles on the dots.

Spring!

Spring time is early here. The past couple of weeks have been perfect weather. Flowers are blooming- cosmos, sun flowers, orchids, and cherry blossom trees make for a beautiful walk. Soon the tulips will start blooming and there is a festive on a nearby island that I can't wait to see. I'm scared for the humidity that is coming but enjoying the weather right now!

2 new milestones!

Ben accomplished a lot this weekend. He learned to wink and spell his name! Can't wait to see all the other things he learns while 4.

Ian's pics

Here are some picture ian took while flying last month in PI. What an incredible view he had!

Fish market

I went to the fish market in Naha with my Japanese friend. She said that all the tourists were speaking Chinese, and that the indoor market reminded her of a Chinese market, not a Japanese market. The fish market had these beautiful bright fish that you could buy for a set price, bring upstairs and local restaurants would make a plate of Sashimi for you. I was not daring enough to do that, so my friend and I went up stair and had some cooked Chinese food instead.

Bios on the hill

Okinawa is so beautiful. Much of the island is very country with farm land and open fields. We decided to explore some of the rural area that had beautiful orchids, pineapple trees, goats, boat ride and just open area for the boys to run around. It was a lovely day and we got to use my selfie stick :)

Ben's 4th birthday!

We had a birthday party for ben during a weekend Ian was home. We invited Ben's best friends and most of them were able to make it. So much fun at the play place watching ben run around and be excited that all of his friends were in one room. He was so excited when we sang happy birthday to him. I bought cupcakes from the commissary that dyed the kid's faces face and would not come off! But it was a huge success and so happy Ian was able to make it.
